Overview

A Portrait of Connemara is a photographic exploration of one of Ireland’s most beautiful regions. Years in the making, it renews and redefines the magic of this much-loved area, channeling the excitement and passion of the photographer for the beguiling and unique landscape he calls home.

Getting to the heart of Connemara’s landscape and its human component, this portfolio of work includes breathtaking views of the Sky Road in Clifden, Kylemore Abbey and Roundstone Bay, as well as intimate shots of country house interiors ad portraits of some of the people who inhabit this rich and varied landscape. The quirky, the curious, and the unknown of Connemara are also captured, unveiling a new dimension to a land we all thought we knew.
